Every morning I walk 5 miles around 6:00 - 7:30 am. This is a little story to let you know about my walk and talk with the Lord this morning. For some reason I woke up around 2:30 this morning? I went ahead and did my Bible study which was 1 Corinthians 8, but I went ahead and read the whole book… around 4:30 I went for my 6:00 walk. As my phone was announcing that I had walked a mile, the Lord told me to pick a flower 🌸 for my sister. She is going to stay with my brother in law for a few days. He is quite ill, possibly in his final days…
The environment is rough, I had gone there last Saturday to minister and when someone is very ill it will drain you trying to get everyone on the same page, now back to the walk. At mile 2, I was instructed to pick another flower! It was as very dark as I was quite early starting my walk. Then the Lord told me to pick 4 more flowers at random… there weren’t any flowers 💐 at the mile marks anymore. As I had all the flowers in my hat, carrying them carefully, the next instruction was to name the flowers .
1) Spirit
2) Peace
3) Compassion
4) Patience
5) Wisdom
6) Love
Each flower had a purpose for her trip and her ministry mission that she is about to embark on!
I got home way before 1st light and my sister was awake… I told her about my walk and talk with the Lord, gave her the flowers 🌸 one by one, explaining the names and purpose of each one.
She then asked if I would show her the 1st light, she has heard me talking about 1st light but had never quite experienced it in a spiritual sense… it was about 6:30 and 1st light was at 6:56.. we walked down the street to the neighborhood park and sat and talked! Then the sky started lighting up, the light ran the darkness away and we saw the beauty of the 1st light as it began lighting the sky with red and blue colors bouncing off of the clouds… what a beautiful sight and a wonderful time to minister and love my sister in a way I will remember for the rest of my life!
I have had a complete day already and I just couldn’t wait to share it with y’all!
