All I want for Christmas!

With the month of December starting today, I am getting into the Christmas spirit. I am wondering what gifts to get for family and friends and also being asked, “Jeff, what do you want for Christmas this year?”

Of course the lists of things that I would like to get is just like when I was a kid with a little spin. As we get older, we appreciate the things we hated to get when we were young. Clothes, essentials and stuff like that are on our lists instead of toys!

But this year, I want a very special gift. You see, I have a niece that has a grand baby that is very ill. For some reason this infant is having strokes! The doctors are trying everything they know of to help little Coley but it seems to be such a rare condition that they are not sure what to do next. We have been praying for a miracle, a supernatural healing from God. I was talking to my niece last night and we agreed that there are thousands of people praying for this baby. Her church, my church, family, friends and I am sure that strangers that we will never know are asking God for a miracle! 

So this year , all that I want for Christmas is for the power of God almighty, the precious blood of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to touch Coley in that special way and deliver him from this horrible condition. I speak healing to his body, mind and spirit in Jesus name. Jesus, you are the only one that can heal this boy and restore him to be the man of God that he was born to be! I speak comfort and peace to the parents and family, asking for their minds to think of the deliverance that we are praying for and to release them from the pain and grief that they are going through. I speak for the light of our Lord Jesus to shine in the darkness of this situation and for this to change from an unbearable circumstance into a glorious testimony right now in Jesus name!
